Her practice is conceptually navigating the boundaries of artistic practice and artisanship, working in the favour of the authorship of the artisan politically, specially women and Muslims who make up the majority of the workforce. Describing herself as a ‘Hathkargah’ or someone who weaves by hand using a handloom she is self aware of her position and materiality.
