From Mallarpur in rural West Bengal where he was born to the urban places like Delhi that he now calls home, Anup Let’s practice traces the quiet crossings of gender, sexuality and queer identity. Fabric, stitching and pink become his language of care, a tender way to reveal what is hidden and to hold what is fragile. Through his “queer landscape” projects with the tailor community in Sultanpur in New Delhi, he imagines spaces of learning, resistance and belonging. His work moves toward connection, visibility and a more compassionate world.
