Artist Statement

My practice explores the tension between celestial phenomena and earthly concerns, especially environmental degradation like stubble burning. Through surreal landscapes, symbolic forms, and organic materials, I weave together cosmic and terrestrial narratives. My work seeks to reflect on humanity’s place in the universe, memory, and ecological urgency. Here are five key words or concepts that could define your practice: 1\. Surrealism – for your dreamlike, symbolic compositions blending reality and imagination. 2\. Environmentalism – reflecting your focus on ecological issues like stubble burning. 3\. Cosmic Imagery – referencing elements like asteroids, the Moon, and the Big Bang. 4\. Materiality – highlighting your use of wood, stone, and organic textures. 5\. Interconnectedness – expressing the links you draw between the earthly and the celestial, the personal and the planetary.
