I am developing my leather-cut shadow works into clay and ceramic. Earlier, my art existed as fragile silhouettes that came alive with light. Now, I am giving them a more permanent form through clay. The arms, torsos, and relief panels I make feel like shadows turned into solid objects. By arranging these pieces on the wall or as small sculptures, I explore how stories can change depending on their placement. Working with clay adds weight, texture, and a lasting quality to the images, while still keeping the spirit of shadow play alive in a new material.
