This work reimagines the gunny bag as a symbol of both sustenance and the pressures of industrial agriculture. Meticulously painted weave patterns echo mass production while resisting its speed, inviting viewers to pause. Created on paper made from recycled waste cotton bunion material, it reflects on reuse, slow making, and the fragility of the systems that hold our food.
