this stilllife series is an intimate study of the quiet objects that surround me every day. As a woman, I live among vessels, containers, and the small, monotonous things that fill a household—objects that are often overlooked, yet constantly present. In this painting, I wanted to capture that part of my life, to give form and dignity to the stillness I witness daily. Set against an arched black backdrop, the vases become characters, each holding its own subtle energy. The vibrant vase in the foreground breaks the monotony, becoming a symbol of colour, rebellion, and presence. The final layer of gold adds a gentle sacredness, turning routine into ritual. Paper collage weaves fragments of domestic memory into the composition, creating texture and depth. Through these layers, the mundane becomes meaningful.
