This painting is inspired by an aquarium—a space where fish are provided with every necessity: timely food, clean water, and constant care. Yet, despite these comforts, the aquarium is not their natural habitat. They exist within a transparent glass box, visible, protected, but confined. I relate this condition to human life. Many individuals grow up in homes where all material needs are fulfilled—food, shelter, care, and security are provided by family. From the outside, everything appears complete and well-managed. However, beneath this surface, they are often restricted by expectations, social structures, and emotional boundaries imposed by family and society.Although such individuals may face internal conflicts and unspoken struggles, they are frequently unable to express their true feelings or confront certain realities openly. They remain seen, yet unheard—safe, yet constrained. This subtle division between inner emotions and exterior is what I refer to as the “Glass Wall.” The title reflects a transparent barrier that protects but simultaneously limits freedom, expression, and authentic existence
