The first autumn month is also named as Khuyus which referes to the circilar threshing that is done to separate the barley grains rom the husks by involving yaks to trample over the harvested crops in circular fashion.  This photo is of the process of separating the barley from the husks by throwing them in the air as the wind blows off the husks.
