As my practice is rooted in a conscious return to cultural methodologies, where indigenous knowledge systems inform both the form and philosophy of my work. Drawing inspiration from nature and traditional techniques passed down through generations, I aim to reinterpret these practices within a contemporary, urban context. This hybrid approach involves replacing modern, industrial materials with sustainable, locally-sourced alternative preserving the integrity of ancestral wisdom while responding to current environmental urgencies. At the core of my process is upcycling: I collect discarded urban materials and reimagine their purpose, integrating them into my work as a gesture of renewal and resistance to overconsumption. Through this, my art becomes a dialogue between the old and the new, the natural and the synthetic, the rural and the urban. The textures and forms I create are not just visual expressions but carriers of cultural memory and ecological mindfulness. By embracing the complexities of the urban ecosystem, my practice acknowledges both its challenges and its potential for adaptation. Through this intersection of tradition and innovation, I seek to honor the land, revalue the discarded, and contribute to a more sustainable artistic and cultural future
