The diary of an Idler

My artwork is a warm invitation to explore what it means to be human and to understand the roles we play. I focus on discovering the 'masks' we sometimes wear, and the uncertainty of who we are. I reflect on a character’s inner life by creating scenes, using interiors and architecture to tell stories. I use Hindi poetry and everyday satire to explore myself and society. Making art is a dialogue for me. It is a conversation with you, society, and myself.

I have received scholarships from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India (2014) and Jean-Claude Reynal (France, 2019). My solo exhibitions include Diary of an Idler (2016), one at Musée d'Aquitaine (2019), and May I Have Your A-Tension, Please? (2023).
