Order processing

Every artwork on quietart.com is an original, one-of-a-kind piece. Once an order is placed, our team confirms availability and prepares the work for dispatch.

  • For artworks already in our possession, orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days of confirmed payment.
  • For artworks that are with the artist at the time of order, we first arrange collection from the artist's studio and complete a quality check before packing. This can take longer, and the expected timeline will be shared with you after order confirmation.

Packaging

All artworks are packed by trained handlers using materials suited to the medium (canvas, paper, mixed media, or sculpture).

Delivery timelines

Delivery timelines depend on where the artwork is coming from (our storage or the artist's studio), the destination, and the mode of transport used. An estimated delivery window will be shared with you once the order is confirmed and again at the time of dispatch.

As a general guide:

  • Domestic (India): typically a few business days to a couple of weeks from dispatch.
  • International: typically two to four weeks from dispatch, depending on destination and customs clearance.

These are estimates only and may vary due to artist/studio location, courier delays, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control.

Shipping charges

Shipping charges, if applicable, are calculated at checkout based on artwork size, weight, and delivery location. Any customs duties or import taxes on international orders are the responsibility of the recipient.

Tracking

Once the order is dispatched, a tracking number (if available) and courier details are shared via email.

Damage in transit

Every shipment is insured. If an artwork arrives damaged, please report it within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the artwork and packaging, by writing to connect@quietart.com. As each artwork is a one-of-a-kind piece, a replacement is not always possible; our team will assess the damage and offer a repair (where feasible) or a refund, as appropriate.

Please ensure the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate and accessible. QAM is not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete address details.
