“Untold stories”
My practice spans painting, performance, and installation, where I construct layered narratives balancing wit, fiction, and psychological intensity. I focus on the forgotten, mundane parts of everyday life. Moving away from Kolkata made me see the city differently - its absurd stories and the way people build their identities within it. I see myself as a storyteller of the "megacity." Through an evolving interdisciplinary approach, I continue to explore the construction of image-worlds that merge the absurd with lived experience.
I completed my BFA at Sister Nivedita University (2023) and my MFA at Shiv Nadar University (2025), where I received the Student MFA Fellowship. I've shown my work at Imaginarium 5.0 at Emami Art (2025), received a Kalanand award (2024), and I recently did a durational performance work at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale (2025–26) in collaboration with Sanaa Aggarwal and Panjeri Artist Union, Kolkata.
