“Material poetry”
My work involves drawing, painting, installation, and music, all arising from love for materials and process. I find and use objects like stones, wood, and industrial leftovers from my surroundings, letting their history and texture guide the art rather than imposing a strict concept.
I trained in sculpture at Sir J.J. School of Art, participated in the Kochi Muziris Biennale, and recently showed my work “Handle with Care” at the US Embassy in New Delhi. A big part of what I do is the "Ek Goan Ek Chitr" initiative, which brings shared, collective art to communities.
