Born and raised in Delhi, Atia Sen is an independent multidisciplinary artist who is currently intrigued by the interplay between humans and their natural world. Her practice is an ode to to her natural world. Her practice is an ode to her relationship with her surroundings and landscapes that have constantly added to her growth and identity. A lot of her work is also based on intuitive movements and impulses; much like herself otherwise. Exploring a meditative process defined by an uninhibited flow , her compositions embody her internal state and the impermanence of the world around her. Through her intuitive movements and deep connection her natural surroundings, Atia attempts to create compositions that resonate with authenticity and emotion, inviting viewers to embark on their own introspective journey. My journey as a multidisciplinary artist has been a deeply personal pilgrimage through vibrant and lush landscapes that have helped hone and foster my own spiritual intuition. In an intricate dance of colours, shapes and forms, i am able to find my voice. My work has always been a part of an ongoing dialogue with nature, a continuous exploration of the symbiotic relationship between human and the natural world in my canvas, the chaotic and serene coexist. My practice is deeply rooted in the intuitive interplay of movement and impulse.
