Avni Bansal

Through my practice, I explore how memory, craft, and culture weave through everyday Indian life. I often draw from local markets and traditional villages, using decorative motifs to reinterpret social rituals. My work is founded in tradition yet it actively engages with the realities of the contemporary landscape.

I hold an MFA in Printmaking and have shown my work internationally, including at the IPCNY New Prints Show in New York and the Sofia Print Triennale (2020). I was also honored with the National Award at the 56th National Exhibition of Art (2015).
