“The sun and salt of a chosen home”
I work primarily with photography, printmaking, and moving images to explore the connection between landscapes and memory. Years spent living, farming, and sharing daily life in a remote Ladakh village have deeply shaped my understanding of belonging and home. I practice slow, analogue, and alternative photographic processes, sometimes building my own cameras, mirroring the gradual rhythm of pastoral life. My research incorporates local plants into my photography, directly embedding the region’s history. I've recently led community workshops to create an archive that honors our shared identity and lasting connection to this place.
