“Post pop culture”
I am an interdisciplinary visual artist and curator whose practice explores image, abstraction, belief, and perception. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant visual culture of public landscapes – such as cinema cutouts, signboards, and advertising – my work examines how images are produced, circulated, and given meaning. Moving fluidly across painting, video, sound, installation, photography, and sculpture, I use everyday materials like plywood and found objects to question how visual forms shape cultural assumptions. My projects have been exhibited globally and locally, including my solo project “Pain Corporation of India” at Gallery Sumukha in Bengaluru (2026), my solo show “An Index of Disobedience” at Fulcrum Gallery in Mumbai, and the public art photo project “Walk with the Founder,” which was funded by the Robert Bosch Grant (2014).
