Harvesting the unsolvable

Growing up on a farm in Karnataka shaped how I see the world. Artworks mainly center on large, detailed drawings that mimic the patterns of nature. Inspired by things like rice grains or old farm tools can be found in my works. This comes from my relationship with being sensitive to the land, labour, and rural traditions. I've also been focused on taking those traditional, now-obsolete agricultural objects and extending their stories into murals and public artworks.

I hold a post-diploma in Painting from Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Art from Sri Kalanikethana School of Art.
