With a deeply personal and intricate interplay of light and colour, I reflect on my emotional and psychological states. Over the past three years, especially during the pandemic, light and colour felt like a poem expressing the shared anxieties, sorrows, and eventual peace we all experienced. The initial struggles of confinement highlighted enduring battles, making light feel harsh and unsettling. As things transitioned, the pure daylight and soft night hues brought a therapeutic sense of calm and revitalization to my work. Currently I am focused on a "light painting" series, by using materials like organza cloth and actual light sources to capture this feeling.
