Imprinting life

I am a visual art practitioner. My practice centers on the diseased, disabled, and deformed body - the bodies that have been othered and shunned throughout history. I archive my memories of illness through drawings, collages, digital prints, found objects, and sculptural installations, while addressing issues like gender violence, sexuality, biological welfare, the impact of epidemics, and contemporary medical science's invasiveness and incapacity.

I was selected for the KHOJ Peers Share (2021) and received a scholarship for Young Artists in Visual Art under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India (2019). I've also exhibited in group shows including IN TRANSIT  at Gallery Ra, Ahmedabad (2021), the 53rd Annual Exhibition at Birla Art Academy, Kolkata (2020), Dumas Art Project in Surat, and 'Futures of Sexuality' at TIFA Working Studios, Pune.
