My work begins with experiences; my own, those shared by friends, or moments I encounter while traveling and moving through different places. Often, it is something very ordinary: a conversation, a landscape, an animal crossing the road, a strange incident, or a fleeting feeling that stays with me longer than expected. Rather than documenting an event as it happened, I allow memory, imagination, and the process of image-making to reshape it. As a result, the images often move away from reality and enter a space that feels familiar yet uncertain, like a remembered dream. I work primarily through painting, drawing, and printmaking.
