“Symbiotic growth of humans and nature”
Ideas like displacement, ecology, and what 'home' really means are what I explore through drawings, sculptures, and installations. I build my sculptural forms from coir rope, old clothes, and natural materials I find. I use knotting and weaving as simple actions that speak of protection, comfort, and the connection that exists between humans and nature. For me, the act of making, the material, and the touch are all associated with each knot that holds time and memory.
My works have been previously exhibited in Delhi, Hyderabad, Hamburg, and the Bhau Daji Lad Museum (2024). I also received the Prafulla Dahanukar Award (2024) and the Space118 Grant (2025–26).
