Jit Natta

My work explores caste histories, migration, labor, and local traditions. Using performance, installations, drawings, and everyday objects, I am also interested in the ephemeral where people are invited to share memories and experiences. I am especially interested in reviving traditional folk performance arts, like the Jatra traveling theatre, through community research and site-specific projects. My practice connects visual storytelling with public engagement, focusing on stories from marginalized communities and fractured histories.
