“Gesture and domestic fragility”
I find possibilities in hesitation and shifting light, searching for reality over fixed truths. My process-based practice uses mark-making and bodily residue to capture fleeting gestures where the subconscious and personal as political emerge. I work intuitively with water-based mediums, leaning into the unpredictable bleed of ink on Lokta paper, which allows both sides to speak simultaneously. My experimental installations contrast large paintings with tactile materials like fingernails and thread, exploring contained domesticity and the fragile architectures of care.
