“Sensuous nature”
My work explores organic forms through free-flowing lines, loops, and wave-like compositions that feel both balanced and uncanny. I started with realistic sketches and biological diagrams, which evolved during my sculpture studies at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath into investigations of natural structures and forms. I'm drawn to fluidity and intentional voids, using monochromatic palettes, especially black to reflect raw, natural forms. In recent years, I've expanded into mixed media with terracotta, plant debris, and salt crystallization, exploring how materials transform over time. These processes become collaborators, allowing forms to appear grown, fossilized, or unearthed rather than constructed.
