“Unity amongst the oppressed”
As a figurative artist, I explore people and their surroundings through painting and drawing, often focusing on feelings of alienation and concerns about social class and oppression. Most recently I've focused on urban isolation, drawing from my time in northern California, but I've also examined historical events like the Kilvenmani massacre commemoration.
I was selected for ARTIndia magazine's '30 Under 30' list, and I've exhibited at the Sausalito Center for the Arts and the Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art.
