“Perils of the hive mind”
My practice is really about the city I live in and how quickly it's changing. For the past fifteen years, I've been exploring the tensions of urban life - things like the environment, migration, labor, and the stress of capitalism. I use drawing, painting, and installation to filter these observations through local stories and Indian mythology, which helps me create layered, symbolic work. My practice is a personal archive and a critique, reimagining the modern city through memory and metaphor.
