Raj Yadav

In my work, memory and landscape come together in a quiet way. The figures I paint are connected to the land, but their thoughts often feel distant. I paint the everyday; fields, homes, a faraway gaze - the kind of life shaped by land, and the kind of love that doesn’t quite have words. There’s always something unsaid in my canvases, a space between what was and what remains. 

My work has been recognised by the Lalit Kala Akademi and shown across India and internationally, including at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale and festivals in Khajuraho, London, and Oman.
