Raj Yadav graduated with BFA and MFA from College of Art, New Delhi. During this time, he became the recipient of 3 gold medals and the Biswanath Mukharji Award. Later he became the recipient of an award from the Lalit Kala Akademi (National Academy of Art) New Delhi and the Sachi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies in Bhopal. He has participated in numerous workshops, seminars and group shows in Delhi, Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh. He has been invited to partake in various International and around India such as the International Art Festival in Khajuraho, International Festival of Performing Arts in Delhi, Shravanabelagola Art Festival and Shimla Art Festival. He was also invited to participate at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale. Presently he is residing in Delhi.
