Riddhi Rajora

As a queer artist I explore identity, vulnerability and chaos through layered, fragmented oil paintings, exploring what it means to live with gender non-conformity, neurodivergence, and mental health struggles. My work is semi-autobiographical and reflects the emotional nuances of gender dysphoria and the intricacies of queer relationships. Grounded in Austrian and French Expressionism, I render private inner worlds into shared, visible forms. Through weary forms and intricate patterns, I seek to illuminate the tensions and intimacies of our interactions. My practice offers a space for recognition and empathy, celebrating vulnerability and imperfection while inviting viewers to engage with their own experiences within the emotional landscape I create.
