Illness changes how you see everything. I explore the tension between bureaucratic systems that try to reduce bodies to data and the fragile, living reality of being human. After losing both my parents to auto-immune diseases in 2024, my practice deepened - I use repetitive pen marks on paper as an archive of my own existence, resisting the automated language that flattens us into numbers. My work spans painting, sculpture, installation, and performance. Through this practice, I try to honor what gets lost when systems reduce us to facts and measurements.
