“Weaving tradition with change”
I explore the tension between heritage and industrialization. As plastic substitutes threaten the livelihood of handloom weavers, my practice, combining fiber, plastic madur, and drawing, examines how this shift reshapes local landscapes, human relationships, and existential experience. The work juxtaposes tradition and modernity, seeking to capture the resilience of the human spirit amid transformation.
I’ve exhibited at “NAKSHI” (Kala Bhavana, 2024), the SSVAD 9th Young Santiniketan Artists' Exhibition (2024), “Without Cube” (M.S. University, Vadodara, 2024), and the Kochi-Muziris Students Biennale (2025–26), among others. I was also selected for the Immerse Fellowship 5.0 (2026).
