“Desire in fragments of fabric”
I explore the intersections of language, communication, and cultural norms shaped by where we're born and the social structures around us. My work observes people's tiny gestures, quiet emotions, and subtle beginnings of love and desire, often found in overlooked fragments of daily life. I express these themes through storytelling, sometimes direct, sometimes layered with satire or indirect meanings. Materials are crucial to me as I experiment especially with cloth and fabric, letting each concept guide what I use alongside them. As I engage with different people and cultures, new environments inform and expand my perspective.
I recently participated in "APPARITIONS" at APRE Art House, Mumbai (2026), the Ravi Jain Memorial Award Show in Delhi (2025), and Abir's First Take in Ahmedabad (2025).
