“Grooming conversations”
I work with the slow, deliberate process of printmaking. Specializing in woodcutting, etching, and aquatint, I'm deeply engaged with material and process as a way to explore cultural identity and what it means to create from place. Born and trained in Ganjam, Odisha, I'm interested in how traditional techniques carry stories and memory.
I received the Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation Award in Mumbai (2024), the State Lalit Kala Akademi National Exhibition Award (2022), and the Banabihari Parida Memorial Award from GCAC. My work has been exhibited at the Graphica Print Biennale in Romania (2020), the Ravi Jain Memorial Foundation Exhibition (2022).
