“Between preservation and vanishing points”
With roots in Ladakh, my practice grows directly out of the land I come from. I work with soil, clay, and found objects to explore what's quietly disappearing in our landscape, our architecture, our rituals. Climate change and rapid modernisation are reshaping Ladakh fast, and my sculptures and installations sit with that tension. I draw on local stories and indigenous knowledge, not as nostalgia, but as a way of asking what we carry forward and what we lose. It's research-based and hands-on rooted in documentation, community, and the materials the land itself offers.
