“Spaces in irreversible transition”
I make art about the push and pull between humans and the environments we build, break, and inhabit. The work moves across mediums like canvas, charcoal, collage and sits with themes of transformation, destruction, and what gets left behind. I'm drawn to dualities: the organic and the constructed, harmony and discord, presence and absence. Texture is central to how I work it carries the physical and emotional weight of change in a way that words often can't. The landscapes I create are deliberately ambiguous, spaces in transition where the familiar starts to give way. Ultimately, I'm asking what traces we leave, and what those traces say about us.
