Debris of Love- Debris of Love emerges as a quiet yet piercing reflection on the emotional fractures created by political turmoil. In this work, love becomes a fragile terrain—scattered, unsettled, and repeatedly tested by forces that insist on silencing us. The video moves through metaphor rather than direct narrative, tracing the tension between belonging and exclusion. It responds to the unsettling rhetoric of political power—those moments when citizens are made to feel as though the country they inhabit, nurture, and love no longer belongs to them. When speaking up becomes an act of defiance, and silence becomes a forced inheritance, the ground beneath us begins to shift. Within this trembling landscape, Debris of Love captures the dilemma of living in a place where identity and homeland are constantly questioned. The fragments in the video—disjointed gestures, scattered impressions, suspended moments—echo the psychic debris left behind by such coercive narratives. Here, love is not lost but fractured. And through the scattered remains, the work asks: What does it mean to belong when the soil itself is used against us?
