This book explores alternative book structures and formats as a means of narrating the landscape and lived realities of my native land, Tripura. The work attempts to trace stories that remain untold, unspoken, and often overlooked - histories embedded in land that is sparsely inhabited yet deeply marked by memory. Through this project, I seek to articulate human narratives that are inseparable from a transforming landscape shaped by social and political forces. The work reflects on how communities adapt to change, often accepting what is unusual or even undesirable for the sake of survival. This acceptance, however, is accompanied by silence—an unspoken negotiation between necessity, loss, and endurance.
