Prey and Predator In this painting, I reverse the traditional roles of prey and predator to question the structures of power in contemporary society. The work reflects on how the truly innocent often become victims—cornered, silenced, or manipulated by those who command political influence or possess destructive authority. By shifting the balance of power, the painting imagines a moment when the victim rises—when the hunted gains strength, voice, and agency. In this reversal, the once-mighty predator becomes vulnerable, ensnared in the very web of politics and dominance they created. Through this transformation, the work speaks to the fragile and cyclical nature of power: those who exploit others may one day confront the consequences of their own actions, becoming prey to the systems they built.
