**The Motif Archive** is a growing collection of forms I have been developing over the past 7–8 years. These motifs are imaginary rooted loosely in memories and past experiences, yet they carry a quality of being both familiar and unfamiliar, almost dreamlike. The intent is to construct forms that exist beyond the visible world. India holds a long tradition of creating imaginative motifs that reflect the everyday lives of its diverse communities. This archive draws inspiration from that lineage. Each motif functions as a building block, a foundational unit that can be reassembled to construct larger, more contextual works. Together, they form a visual vocabulary that continually evolves, expanding the possibilities of pattern, narrative, and abstraction.
