By transforming the Indian cutting tool grating board (Thuremane) into an upright, industrial machine, the work visualizes the relentless rhythm and cumulative strength required to sustain the home. The recurring, gear-edged voids illustrate the endless cycle of preparation, challenging the viewer to recognize the unbending dignity and ascendant power that rises from a lifetime of necessary, grounded labor.
