Unfolding Memory In this work, I explore the fragile space where past and present collide. My memories—once distant, once quiet—now merge and clash with the weight of my current reality. The familiar grill patterns of the house I live in appear as anchors of the present, yet they dissolve into fragments of recollection I can no longer fully contain. Lines from Sisyphus appear like whispered metaphors, echoing the burden I carry: a stone made of anxieties, thoughts, and unnamed fears. I roll them forward each day, not knowing when they first settled into my life, or how they continue to unfold in unexpected ways. These memories do not remain obedient; they surface as disquiet, as dreams, as shadows that slip into my waking hours. This painting becomes a site where memory is not linear but layered—sometimes tender, sometimes unsettling. It maps the tension between what I remember, what I live, and what refuses to stay in the past.
