A closer look:
This painting represents two human figures, one female and the other male. Through their postures and shared space, I want to express the idea that the relationship between a man and a woman is not only about the physical body but also about the deeper connection of the mind. The heads of both figures rest on the same pillow, which becomes a symbol of shared thoughts, emotions, and inner intimacy.
Instead of focusing on detailed features, I chose to use flat forms and simplified colors. The flatness of color removes unnecessary distractions and highlights the concept of unity at the mental level. The pink space suggests intimacy, warmth, and tenderness, while the figures overlap in a way that makes them appear both separate and connected at the same time.
