Tri-I 3 (set of 3)

Tri-I is born from an inner restlessness, a continuous attempt to know, understand and confront the self. There is something moving within, something that wants to be spoken and expressed, yet remains difficult to articulate. The desire to say it is strong, but somewhere within, something holds it back. The three figures emerge from this internal struggle. They are not three separate individuals, but different states of the same inner self, one trying to understand, one trying to speak, and one caught between expression and restraint. Their overlapping forms suggest a mind in which thoughts, emotions and memories are constantly colliding with one another. There is a sense of being pulled in two directions: one force pushes the self towards expression, while another holds it back, drawing it towards silence. The figures seem to reach for something that cannot fully become words. Their gestures and expressions become a language of what remains unspoken. Through layers, erasure and the restricted brown palette, I try to give form to this invisible psychological space. The process itself becomes a way of searching, building an artwork, losing it, and finding it again. Tri-I is therefore not an attempt to arrive at a clear definition of the self. It is a record of the struggle to understand it. It is the moment between wanting to speak and being unable to speak, the space where the self searches for its own voice.
